I'm trying to sum up the great discoveries of 2009. Stand out performances, etc, things that made me thankful for their creation.

In the Loop (can't get enough- every word is quotable. Armando Iannucci can do no wrong. Ever.)
Bright Star (though flawed, beautifully directed, and anything coming close to Piano territory I will lap lap up)
True Blood (Alan Ball, thank you. Not always cohesive but the little moments, the smaller characters, and Alex Skarsgaard win me over every time)
Grizzly Bear (Thank you God. And the director of the video of Two Weeks. Their music is perfect)
Bird and the Bee (so hummable)
Julia Child (if only she could see herself now)
Better Off Ted (I heart everyone on this show)
MA Man (if you haven't watched it, do)
